6. Must I complete my 200hr YYTT with the same studio and/or in the same city?

No. You may take as much or as little time to complete all 4 modules.
8. Do I need to complete module I before being able to partake in modules II, III and/or IV?
Yes. Our 200hr course has been created and designed so that the modules build on one another. This means the modules can only be completed in sequential order.
9. Can I skip the first module if I have completed a level I 50hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training course with someone else?
As every Yin Yoga teacher trainer and training course offers their own syllabus developed out of their own understanding and personal experience, it is unfortunately not possible to allow a potential student to skip the first module, no matter what previous experience or teacher training courses he or she has completed. We do not have a reciprocal agreement with our fellow teacher training colleagues.
It is vital to us that we all have the same foundation (particularly regarding our teaching methodology) and speak the same language going into the second module. It helps pave the way for a very unique and nurturing atmosphere created by the group as a whole, as we deepen into our personal Yin Yoga journey in modules II, III, and IV.
10. Who is this course suitable for and are there any course prerequisites?
Our Yin Yoga & Anatomy Training course is suitable for yoga practitioners (with at least 2 years regular yoga practice) and experienced yoga teachers. Students who do not meet the minimum requirements will be assessed on an individual basis and a decision will be made at the discretion of Yin Therapy.
Our training course is designed to be a solid foundation training to become a yoga teacher, a specialised Yin Yoga teacher or continuing education for already qualified yoga teachers.
11. What are the main themes of this course?
Our 200hr Yin Yoga & Anatomy Teacher Training course takes you on a journey from the physical, anatomical aspect of the practice (first 100hrs) to the energetic aspect of chakras and meridians (second 100hrs). We complete our journey by focusing on the mental aspect of Yin Yoga with a further 100hr Meditation Retreat/Teacher Training - which past students may partake in (further information regarding this final 100hr retreat/teacher training is shared only with our students and not via our website)! This intensive journey into meditation & Yin Yoga through the physical, emotional, energetic and mental bodies has been devised to deepen one's own practice through experientially learning and to create secure and confident teachers.
